Our updated district, school, and special services websites will be going live in the next several days. We have work to do yet throughout the school year but we are very excited to take this step. The new websites include templates designed to be more friendly with mobile devices. The updated style and templates are intended to have a better look and feel and to be more accessible for all users. Websites have a drop down menu to choose between ten languages. We have removed some old content and will continue to do so to make for better search results. Quick links have been redesigned and positioned on home pages for faster access to key content. Directories to find staff members have been added and an analytics component is included to help us determine how to enhance user experience. Many of the improvements made were a result of the information the community provided through email and BT Connect meetings, and we look forward to continuing to improve the websites as part of our district goals.
